Our Story

Oak and Post is a family run business based in southern Ontario. We share a passion for quality woodworking and innovative design. Led by a master carpenter who was trained in Europe and worked for  film and television industry . We use only quality products and the highest level of craftsmanship.
Our production is based on an Amish / Mennonite farms, where we use no electricity - only tools that has been approved by the Elder's Council in the community. All of our materials and processes are eco-friendly and designed to leave a minimal environmental footprint.

Our Mission

We are proud to design, produce and market all of our decor and furniture in Canada, using only local materials. Our goal is simple; we want to make beautiful, quality furniture that is timeless, affordable, and accessible to everyone. We are passionate about bringing nature indoors, to help people heal, de-stress, and experience the beauty of the Canadian wilderness through raw wood. To preserve the integrity of the wood, we use minimal treatments and only natural products - in fact, we even innovated our own finishing process and materials. Some pieces are made from reclaimed wood and metal, and these have been salvaged from in and around the area. When you buy an Oak and Post product, you are bringing a piece of Canadian history home with you.
